KIND WORDS FROM OUR PACK MEMBERS
I wanted to tell you what a delight Waffles is. He continues to be mouthy, we continue trying to curb that behavior, but most of all we are extremely vigilant to avoid situations where he might get into trouble. He greets me full of joy, but he’s bouncing around, rather than fearsome is adorable. He kind of reminds me of Tigger.
The other day I was at the dog park - don’t worry, outside of the dog park, but by the fence - and there was a young Pit mix that was causing stress to the other dog owners because he would get very aggressive with their dogs. Twice they had to pull him out of fights. I approached the owner and told him I knew an amazing trainer. He said his dog was fortunately not a Pitbull, and that he was just a puppy so he would be OK. I told him that he would be lucky if he was a pitbull, and that they are terrific dogs and that if he wasn’t, he would miss out on a terrific dog. Anyway, all this time, Waffles was next to me sitting or lying down, impervious to the barking and growling that was going on. One of the ladies in the park decided she had had enough, so she left the park. On her way out she stopped to comment on how beautiful and well-behaved Waffles is. I cannot imagine not having him as part of our family. Do you know that every night, when we come downstairs to turn in, he stops and sits at the top of the stairs waiting for me to sit with him and scratch his back, give him a hug or pat him a bit? He is more loving than our beloved springer. Anyway, you have better things to do than read this, but I wanted to stress just how appreciative we are for the help and guidance you gave us understanding, appreciating, and enjoying this amazing creature. We realize that he is powerful and able to get into trouble without notice, but also that it is our job to keep him safe. Thanks again. We would be happy to talk to anyone considering having you work with them and their dogs. We wish you the very best for the new year. Thanks again.
"Buster turns 1 year old today! Just wanted to say thank you to you both for loving on us and helping me train this little guy. He's doing great, and I'm so grateful for y'all. Happy Valentine's Day!"
